Gerber Trading imports and distributes high purity inorganic chemical products including soda ash dense, soda ash light and sodium sulphate. We also provide solution for warehousing, handling and local logistics on behalf of customers, if so required.

Our agencies and alliances have ensured that the South African marketplace always has a reputable and secure supply of soda ash and sodium sulphate. Market sectors include glass, candle wax, pulp and paper, metallurgical, mining, textile, food and detergents. Our bulk warehouses are located in Maydon Wharf in Durban port and inland in Johannesburg. Loading capabilities of bulk and 1 MT bags at the warehouses include tipper, tankers and flatbed trucks. Containerized import requests of 50kg and 25kg bags, can be quoted separately.

Additionally, Gerber Trading proudly represents Grupo Industrial Crimidesa from Spain, to exclusively distribute bulk sodium sulphate in South Africa and neighbouring countries.
