By improving the diversity of our workforce, we aim at supporting our business strategies and potential for sustainable growth with the best people, doing their best to build Gerber Trading.

The policy, in keeping with the aims and requirements of the Employment Equity Legislation, aims to practice and promote equal opportunities for all job applicants regardless of gender, race, age or any other elements indicated in the Employment Equity Act No 55 of 1998.

We realize that we have the ability to make a sustainable and visible difference in the lives of those who need it most and, in this regard, Gerber Trading provides financial support on an ongoing basis to various nominated charities in the regions we operate.

Gerber Trading also takes part in adhoc projects like hosting school learners and affording them the opportunity to spend time in our working environment. The aim of these visits is to educate and share exposure to the business world on a practical level.
A mission becomes your constitution, the solid expression of your vision and values.
Gerber Trading seeks and observes the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of many people and will continue with positive contributions and programs to the South African communities in the future. We strive to lead by example by participating in the annual national Charity and Awareness Days. Our employees adopt this attitude of giving and often take part in their personal capacity, in addition to what Gerber Trading contributes.
